The bustling party scene in Jamaica has a new kid, in the way of a new flavoured vodka product. It is a French vodka named after Russia’s first president Boris Yeltsin and was introduced to the island in the last quarter of 2019.

It steps apart from the market of flavoured vodkas as the product is a pre-mixed beverage that only requires ice to be enjoyed and is listed as a Liqueur. Jelzin attracts a young demographic that has budget concerns and dislikes the harsh flavour more premium alcoholic beverages carry.
My Introduction
Like with all alcoholic beverages one must drink responsibly & never drink and drive as Jelzin has a 16.67% alcohol volume right out the gate no matter how light it may taste.
Unlike other flavoured vodkas, Jelzin Vodka Liqueur doesn’t have just an essence of the fruits but is mixed with fruit syrups that make the product not requiring a chaser and very deceptive to its drinkers.

Finally
“Jelzin is becoming a fast favourite in the ‘Round Robin’ and party scene.”
Brian Nembhard through his company Nembo Imports Ltd who is responsible for its introduction to the island is no stranger to the Wine & Spirits market in Jamaica. He has stated that the product has shown great performance in Nigeria and since its introduction to Jamaica has steadily increased in popularity. I'm personally a fan of the Jelzin Ginger as it has the smoothest taste for my liking. Why not get yourself a bottle and do it...For The Love Of Food.
